Providing Community Transport services in Haringey

Community Transport Haringey was founded by HCT Group in April 2007 to provide community transport services in the borough – a previously unmet need. Supported by Haringey Council, we provide a range of high-quality transport to help the community to get out and about. Our services include:

Minibus hire – a low cost alternative: We provide community groups, clubs and non-profit organisations in Haringey with a financially supported scheme to access cheap minibuses - Group Transport. This service is financially supported by Haringey Council and by money reinvested from HCT Group’s commercial contracts.

YourCar: A low cost, fully accessible alternative to minicab hire – designed to help people with disabilities or mobility difficulties where a regular minicab or taxi doesn’t meet all of their needs. Vehicles are fully wheelchair accessible and drivers are trained to be able to help their passengers from door to vehicle to door.

Minibus driver training: We provide Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS0 training, helping our community group members driver vehicles themselves, saving on having to hire a driver with their vehicle. This service is financially supported by Haringey Council and by money reinvested from HCT Group’s commercial contracts.

Dial-a-Ride: We deliver a variety of Dial-a-Ride services under contract in the borough.
